For some people, Pokémon are pets. Other use them for fights.

Hello, my name is Veronica, though I go by the nickname of Vii online and off. I am a twenty-something female who has many obsessions, one of them being Pokémon. I was given my very first copy of Pokémon Yellow on my tenth birthday, and was more than elated about it. I had spent the year previous playing my sister's Blue, on a new game without saving until I sucked all the life from the AA batteries in the Gameboy. Then, I would replace the batteries and do it all over again. My very first Pokémon was a Bulbasaur, and that adorable little nugget has held a special piece of my heart ever since. For me, Pokémon is something that I have yet to, or likely ever will, grow out of. And I realized that I really do not care to grow out of it - I love it and I am not ashamed of it. xD

The goal may be far away, but don't give up yet! Keep going!

Everstone was opened on December 3, 2014 on a complete and total whim. I chose to name it Everstone for my penchant toward eternally loving the adorableness of unevolved Pokémon (an Everstone being the hold item that prevents Pokémon from evolving.) In-game, of course, I do evolve them for the stats so that I may more effectively slaughter my enemies. However, if they were real, I would never have them evolve. It would be like finally being able to have a puppy stay a puppy forever. Which is awesome, to say the least. The current layout features a vector Pokéball, silhouettes of some of my favorite Pokémon scattered throughout, and a design in a minimalistic style. I had the idea of a newspaper-esque design in mind, and I think it turned out pretty well.
